Dream On Lyrics
Artist: Aerosmith
Album: Dream On
Every time when I look in the mirror
All these lines on my face getting clearer
The past is gone
it went by, like dusk to dawn
Isn't that the way
Everybody's got the dues in life to pay
I know nobody knows
where it comes and where it goes
I know it's everybody sin
You got to lose to know how to win
Half my life
is books written pages
live and love from fools and
from sages
You know it's true,OH
All these things come back to you
Sing with me, sing for the years
Sing for the laughter, sing for the tears
Sing with me, just for today
Maybe tomorrow, the good lord will take you away
Yeah, sing with me, sing for the year
sing for the laughter, sing for the tear
sing with me, just for today
Maybe tomorrow, the good Lord will take you away
Dream On
Dream On
Dream On
Dream until your dreams come true
Dream On
Dream On
Dream On
Dream until your dreams come true
Dream On
Dream On
Dream On
Dream On
Dream On
Dream On
Dream On
Sing with me, sing for the year
sing for the laughter, sing for the tear
sing with me,just for today
Maybe tomorrow, the good Lord will take you away
Sing with me, sing for the year
sing for the laughter, sing for the tear
Sing with me, just for today
Maybe tomorrow, the good Lord will take you away.

Comments/Interpretations
BEST SONG EVER!!!!!!!!!
this song is bad ass
This is , my song.
this sone rules
Always loved this song. Since I was younger.
CLASSIC!!
Few lyrics, but haunting. We must cherish our time with our loved ones before the Lord takes them away. I used to cry as a kid listening to this song, even now wonder how this band could create such a prophetic song.
In my Junior year of high school(1975) we were asked to write a poem. My friend submitted the words to this song as her poem and our totally square English teacher busted her on it! Still can't figure out how he knew!
