I've sung this song to my granddaughter since she was a baby. I sang it to her every morning before I took her to daycare and she likes me to sing it each morning before I drop her off at school. She is now almost seven and still wants me to sing it to her. She IS my sunshine!

this song means so much to me. my mom sang it to me when i was little. And she sang it to my kids, and to my daughters kids. Shes been gone now for 2 years but ill still sing it to my grandkids cause its like shes still here. we call it mommoms song.
