Cigarette Lyrics
Artist: Ben Folds Five
Album: Whatever And Ever Amen
Fred Jones was worn down
from caring for his often
screaming and crying wife
during the day but
He couldn't sleep at night for fear that she
In a stupor from the drugs that didn't even
ease the pain would set the house on blaze
with a cigarette.

Comments/Interpretations
love it! sadness= beauty
Also a favourite of mine. Just a couple of fix-ups re: lyrics:
Fred Jones was worn out, not down;
The drugs didn't [no even] ease the pain; and
The house might be set ablaze, not on blaze.
I love how short and simple this song is, though it always leaves me wanting more due to its shortness D: It makes me so indecisive
