The best vocal versions of this Edgar Sampson numer are those made at various times by Ella Fitzgerald. On the whole I prefer the instrumental versions by Goodman and others, particularly when the solo musician is on tenor sax and is aware of the lyrics, and consequently can put some emotion into his interpretation eg Babe Russin in the famous 1938 recordings.
