You Belong To My Heart Lyrics
Artist: Bing Crosby
Album: You Belong To My Heart
You belong to my heart
Now and forever
And our love had its start
Not long ago
We were gathering stars while a million guitars played our love song
When I said "I love you", every beat of my heart said it, too
'twas a moment like this
Do you remember?
And your eyes threw a kiss
When they met mine
Now we own all the stars and a million guitars are still playing
Darling, you are the song and you'll always belong to my heart
'twas a moment like this
Do you remember?
And your eyes threw a kiss
When they met mine
Now we own all the stars and a million guitars are still playing
Darling, you are the song and you'll always belong to my heart

Comments/Interpretations
This song was first featured in Disney's Three Caballeros in 1944, during a very "trippy" segment. This movie featured Donald Duck, Joe Carioca, and Panchito visiting Latin American countries like Brazil and Mexico.
antiga,mas muito linda mesmo
I am very much happy to heard the music...One love..Keep it up. gbengangn@yahoo.com
Muito sentimental e linda como todas as musicas dele.
So wonderful song; In Mexico we know it as: "Solamente una vez...amé en la vida...solamente una vez...y nadamás...Solamente una vez se entrega el alma..con la dulce y total renunciación..." I fell in love with Donald Duck since I saw him in Three Caballeros
A timeless treasure, in a song, that can transcend generations of musical enlightment, an international treasure.
my mom loves this song....though she doesn't know the full lyrics of the song, but her humming of the song still lingers on.....

Our hispanic social club has a "choral" and "Solamente una Vez" is a favorite song, now we will add an english version
I love this song, I'd make up lyrics something like Spanish beginning 'Solenty de' Daw, un patrrie a'ta. the rest was also gibberish/
I have this song on a CD by John Gary (recorded in 1989) I remembered the name of the movie but I couldn't remember when. Good to know 1944! My sister took me to downtown LA to see the movie - I'm now 82 and she is still going strong at 91!
