My Melody Of Love Lyrics
Artist: Bobby Vinton
I'm lookin' for a place to go so I can be all alone
From thoughts and memories
So that when the music plays I don't go back to the days
When love was you and me
CHORUS
Oh, oh moja droga jacie kocham
Means that I love you so
Moja droga jacie kocham
More than you'll ever know
Kocham ciebie calem serce
Love you with all my heart
Return and always be
My melody of love
Wish I had a place to hide all my sorrow, all my pride
I just can't get along
'cause the love once so fine keeps on hurtin' all the time
Where did I go wrong?
CHORUS
Oh, oh, {"la-la's" for the first line of chorus}
My melody of love
{"la-la's" for the first line of chorus}
My melody of love
{"la-la's" for the first line of chorus}
FADE
My melody of love

i love your song it is awesome
My Melody of Love is such a wonderful song! Thanks for providing the lyrics.
"Moja droga" means "my drug" in Croatian :)
change the words to sound right
thank you
go polish!!!!woot
I love this song, it reminds me of someone special :) Polska is amazing
Yes, Marija, a literal translation of "droga" is drug in Croatian, but the correct translation from Polish to Croatian would be "draga" which means darling or beloved.
My pop recently passed away, and this was one of his favorites...I love it... Im getting a line or two put on a necklace for myself.
we use to sing your song to our Bobchi at every family thing 25 of us singing to her she loved it so "family"
My sister and I used to sing this all the time with our Polish grandparents (who passed away 1998/99). Recently at my nephews wedding my sister, mum, family friend and I sang it for my dad. It was a beautiful memory and our Polish contribution to an Australian wedding.
My mother, who passed away in '99, never liked the music I grew up with in the 60', '70's and '80's...but being of Polish decent...she fell in love with Bobby Vinton and his "Melody of Love"! ... Bobby, I thank you for the memories of all your music!
Hello! I'm from Poland, "moja droga jacie kocham" is poorly written. the correct "moja droga ja Ciê kocham" means "My dear I love you" :) in polish language " moja droga" means - my street, my road, my way, my route, my avenue and... 'My dear' :) I greet all of the Polish! :)
Great memories. My mother was of Polish extraction and all of her family in Pensylvania spoke the language. When Mr. Vinton came out with this it was like a Polish anthem. We still get goosebumps when we listen to it and think of all who have passed since then.
Bobby Vinton hails from Canonsburg, PA. It's near Pittsburgh. When the song came out, the Steelers were on their way to a 10-3-1 season and on their way to their first Super Bowl. Suddenly, Pittsburgh and its largely Eastern European populace became popular and the song became a Pittsburgh anthem. I'm of Slovak/Ukrainian heritage and have lived here all of my life. Most of those who spoke the languages are gone now, just as the steel mills where they worked are gone. I heard the song today on WJAS 1320 AM.
We've always really liked Bobby Vinton, Melody of Love is a great song, my mother go's nuts when she hears it!
Brings tears when we hear this lovely song and many memories also...
