The lyrics in this song illustrate religion in my life. I was raised Christian and taught it was the "right" religion, even though it is full of lies. My mother has thought me horrid and insane since she learned of my atheism, hence "you tell your children they're insane." The line " I had to listen to my herat" desribes very well how those of us who are atheist are so because we know what we know, and it is immoral to follow something you don't belive in.
