why are there so many links to something that does not exist.I would like the lyrics to Host of Seraphim. If there are no lyrics, please say so.If there are, could you please send them to me@sylviam.v@gmail.com.Thank you.
There is clearly vocalization in this song. Are there actual words? - not in English, but perhaps in Arabic or Gaelic? If anyone knows, please e-mail me the lyrics, or a USEFUL link, at barrymlamont@gmail.com. Thanks.
I really love this song and I need the lyrics to it! Ever since I saw the fire scene in"Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole", I've been in love with this song. Please give the correct lyrics!
With all attempts seemingly exhausted regarding the lyrics for The Host Of Seraphim, it might be assumed that the content of this piece have been kept wrapped in mystery in keeping with the beautiful haunting effect with which Lisa Gerrard and DCD have so graciously shared with so many people.
it's vocal but not words
it's vocal but not words there are no lyrics
'Its vocal but no words' - I am sure there are words and I would like to know what they are - is it latin, gaelic? Unable to find this out online - a modern day mystery - If anyone knows I'd be grateful if you would email them to me; mhorobin@gmx.co.uk - thanx in advance!
Lisa Gerrard created her own 'spiritual' language around 12yo, that's what she sings.
The worst of all is that there are so many webpages that show lyrics attributed to The Host f Seraphim, but it's fake, they are not the words of the real song... :-(
If a webpage claims that has the lyrics of this song and you start reading:
"I thought that you knew it all
Well you've seen it ten times before.
I thought that you had it down..."
It's FALSE, they are not the words of this beautiful song (and I don't know to which song it belongs).
Dead Can Dance definitely reference ancient Egyptian music and hymns, possibly from the papyrus of Ani, book of the dead
For some reason SPOTIFY and several Lyrics resources list the lyrics for Dead Can Dance's Song 'The Ubiquitous Mr. Lovegrove' under 'The Host of Serpahim', which is an unfortunate misrepresentation of the idiosyncratic vocalization of Lisa here.
I cannot find the lyrics but as others have said the ones you find is for The Ubiquitous Mr.LoveGrove. I listened to both back to back just about on my Playlist when I came on the search for The Host of Serpahim. Seems there is no translation or lead for those of us in search. Just the feeling her haunting voice gives you?
