Deja Vu Lyrics
Artist: Dionne Warwick
Album: Deja Vu
This is insane
All you did was say hello
Speak my name
Feeling your love
Like a love I used to know
Long ago.
How can it be
You're a different space and time
Come to me.
Feel like I'm home
In a place I used to know
Long ago
Deja vu -
Could you be the dream that I once knew
Is it you
Deja vu -
Could you be the dream that might come true
Shining through
I keep remembering me
I keep remembering you
Deja vu
This is devine
I've been waiting all my life
Filling time
Looking for you
Nights were more than you could know
Long ago
Come to me now
We don't have to dream of love
We know how
Somewhere before
It's as if I've loved you so
So long ago
Deja vu -
Could you be the dream that I once knew
Is it you
Deja vu -
Could you be the dream that might come true?
Shining through
I keep remembering me
I keep remembering you
Deja vu

This is one of the most beautiful songs ever created. I listen to it in my car all the time. It is very emotional and at present I'm in a relationship that is true to every word in the song.
I love it...this is the best one.
I don't know... did Dionne ever have a bad song? (Rhetorical question.)
Beautiful song...though i wish i dated someone but in the meantime i play it often on the piano, but it's a nice soothing song.it takes you back..
I wrote this song years ago and never recieved a penny for it. A guy named Roger Blevins with his band went to Memphis and we had an agreement he would contact me if anyone wanted to use any of my songs. I had copies of all my songs mailed to my mother's home but I moved to Jackson and she said they never came in the mail nor did
Roger Blevins ever contact her.
I so loooove this song.... first heard it around 1979. "Deja Vu".
Here I am 78 and this song haunts my reverie. You never forget your first love. I keep remembering her
To mr mat, Dionne is still alive! Hehe
la classe a l’état pure
To Nina Craft.... You did not write this song!!! Isaac Hayes and Barry Manilow did especially for Dionne to sing. They recorded it back in 1979. You must have heard it somewhere along the way and wrote it down. Shame on you for trying to take the credit for this amazing song!! Go steal credit somewhere else!! Lots of love to Dionne a vefy classy woman with an amazing voice..
