Man, I love a song with a meaning.

"Heaven" refers to anything that brings heaven-like joy (in this case, money). However, if this heaven-like joy becomes too much, it can destroy you from the inside, turning you into someone who either is, or may as well be, an "underground" criminal. Surely the "killer" must be satin, as no one can hear him kill a man's soul.
