Moonlight in Vermont Lyrics

Artist: Frank Sinatra
Album: Duets II

Writer(s): Blackburn/Suessdorf

Pennies in a stream
Falling leaves a sycamore
Moonlight in Vermont

Gentle finger waves
Ski trails down a mountain side
Snowlight in Vermont

Telegraph cables, how they sing down the highway
As they travel each bend in the road
And when people meet, in this romantic setting
They're so hypnotized be the lovely...

Evening summer breeze
Sweet warblings of the meadowlark
Moonlight in Vermont

I listened to this when he sang it on his 1960 TV special "A Man and His Music, Part II". Line 4: should read "Icy finger Waves (vs Gentle finger waves). Line 10: should read "They're so hypnotized by the lovely..." (vs ..be the lovely). TXS
