i have been in the volunteer fire department for about a year now. at our instalation i learned that i have to know this song, cause it is our song. everyone at the hall knows it. it has been used for many many years. so thnk you John Cougar Mellencamp.

I'm 60 years old and still think it's one of the all time best songs to dance to. I request it at parties and get the younger generagion dancing to it too. I also use it to excercise to. Really getss my heart pumping. Thanks John

Best Mellencamp song ever! Describes my life perfectly. I'm a 54 year old dad with two kids of my own. We still live on the outskirts of town
