This song reminds me of my dad...his love for my mom, and his love for us kids...and of my husband...I pray my son will find a love on earth like this....After the love for God, love for your spouse and children are great loves....and the ones who teach us how to love another person like that is our parents...May God bless the souls of my parents, who have since departed from here and help us to carry on their legacy of love, devotion and committment to family, neighbors and friends....

This is the most intimate, loving, and romantic love song i have ever heard.It too reminds me of my mom and dad who were married for 61 years and loved each other when she passed away as the day they got married.....John Denver was truly one of the greatest losses in music...R.I.P.

It proved to me that regardless of time or human influence, love will always remain the most powerful thing on earth. John Denver was so incredibly insightful, an absolute legend. This song was played at my grandpa's funeral. Because it was a love song I wasn't sure how it would go, but it was PERFECT! And at the end was a picture of my grandpa and grandma together. Met whent hey were teenagers, and were in love to the day they died. The sweetest song!

I have loved John Denver since I can remember. The first time I heard this song was at his concert in WPB, FL. I cried through the entire song, it is so beautiful. I miss you John but have most of your music to still enjoy.

The first time I heard this song , I cried. Then I didn't have anyone to think of while I listened but still it made me feel love. Now, having a soul mate to love from the bottom of my heart, I know one thing; Denver is the best artist you can ever turn to, when you need to say how much you love him.
