he is saying that he has lost that in love feeling, he wants to get it back, he want to want her back all over again, he will try but he is sad that he does not feel capable of being the person he should be for his lover. He is saying can't you see who you love, I don't understand how you love me. (Who do you love?) If it helps continue holding on to that delusion. I may not be the right one for you. So sad for Jen.

This song is me right now. I've lost the feeling and I want to get it back. I don't trust myself with love, because I don't know what I want most of the time. Ohh John Mayer, why do your songs have to be so perfect.

This was me about four months ago, i even sang it to a girl, but then when i got back into a relationship with my 3 year girlfriend, she now sings it to me... what goes around comes around. that sucks.
