Where do you get your information? That's a pretty awful thing to say, whether it's gossip or not, and particularly since it's well-documented he had no problem getting women or men.

Don,t care what he was he was my idol one of the best ever. To see him in concert was fantastic he was a real entertainer. My friends and I used to sing his songs on the street corner. A true legend.

I was fortunate to know Johnny. He was not only an extreamly lalented singer, he was a very nice, down to earth person with not a hint of being full of himself as others in the business can be.
Facts: He was nearly deaf in one ear, later problems with him other ear and an unfortunate operation left him nearly deaf in both ears putting an end to his career. And yes, not that it ment a hill of beans to me (I'm a hetro femeal) but he was gay.
