Doo Lord Lyrics
Artist: Johnny Cash
Album: Unearthed
I've got a home in glory land that out-shines the sun.
I've got a home in glory land that out-shines the sun.
I've got a home in glory land that out-shines the sun.
Way beyond the blue.
Chorus: Do Lord, O, Do Lord, O do remember me,
Do Lord, O, Do Lord, O do remember me,
Do Lord, O, Do Lord, O do remember me,
Way beyond the blue.
I took Jesus as my Saviour, You take Him too.
I took Jesus as my Saviour, You take Him too.
I took Jesus as my Saviour, You take Him too.
Way beyond the blue.
Chorus: Do Lord, O, Do Lord, O do remember me,
Do Lord, O, Do Lord, O do remember me,
Do Lord, O, Do Lord, O do remember me,
Way beyond the blue.

I am 62 years old and this song one of my favorite memories during my days in Baptist Youth Group. We sang this song every Sunday evening. I now sing it nightly to my 3-year-old grandson before he goes to sleep and he is learning the words by heart.
I sing this song for the first time in preparation to visit the Singapore Chrisian Home in Sembawang on May 8. I'm sure it will touch the hearts of those inmates who hear this song.
