Weapon Lyrics
Artist: Matthew Good Band
Here by my side; an angel,
Here by my side; the devil.
Never turn your back on me,
Never turn your back on me, again.
Here by my side, it's heaven.
Here by my side, you are, destruction.
Here by my side, a new color to paint the world
Never turn your back on it,
Never turn your back on it, again.
Here by my side, its heaven.
Be careful,
Be careful,
Be careful,
Be careful.
This is where the world drops off,
This is where the world drops off.
Be careful,
Be careful.
And you breathe in,
And you breathe out, for it.
Ain't it so weird,
How it makes you a weapon.
And you give in,
And you give out, for it.
Ain't it so weird,
How it makes you a weapon.
Never turn your back on it,
Never turn your back on it,
Again...
Be careful,
Be careful.
Here by my side, its heaven,
Here by my side, its heaven.
Here by my side...

bob your a the one that looks like a fuckin dumbass, you couldnt spell "of", lol
I absolutely love this song, and I have no idea why. Maybe its the lyrics or maybe its the way that it seems to be such a dark song. Then again it could also be because of the first time I heard this song. Anyway I really love it Mathew Good did an amazing job.
Bob marley would never say anything like that.. i'm'a round house kick yo touchie fool!
I first heard this song while I was watching the season 2 finale of smallville and i had to have it
HAHAHAHAHA
I like this song because it is a powerful music arrangement with sharp beats and contrast. The lyrics are a dicotomy of the two sides to the person. The angel and devil. And because of those two sides, the person or the girl he loves (argue either way) can use this power playing both sides as a weapon. Because of this, the person needs to be careful to not turn their back on this power and be responsible.
This song appears in Queer as folk and I love it so much. Is a very good song. Amazing.
This song was just used in the CBS show "Flashpoint" (2/13/09), and I instantly fell in love with the sound of it. Matthew Good is a musical genius.
I would just like to point out that Flashpoint is a Canadian show. It is filmed and set in Toronto and with the exception of Amy Jo Johnson, all the actors are Canadian. It's technically a ctv series not a CBS series. Just had to get that in there. I also heard the song during the Flashpoint episode "Between Heartbeats" and instantly loved it!!!
