Cure For Pain Lyrics
Artist: Morphine
Album: Cure For Pain
Where is the ritual
And tell me where where is the taste
Where is the sacrifice
And tell me where where is the faith
Someday there'll be a cure for pain
That's the day I throw my drugs away
When they find a cure for pain
Where is the cave
Where the wise woman went
And tell me where
Where's all that money that I spent
I propose a toast to my self control
You see it crawling helpless on the floor
Someday there'll be a cure for pain
That's the day I throw my drugs away
When they find a cure for pain (x2)
When they find a cure find a cure for pain

brilliant..
this song is very important in the book The Cure -i don't remember the author. Now i read it, i like much more this song because becames meaningfull and... magic.
have a nice day
Great song!
Yum. This song brightened my day.
this is one of the greatest songs of the world in my opinion! =D
Maybe he was talking about the woman who founded Christian Science. It is a great song**--maybe the best that year.
Hard to believe the guy is gone.
**rest of their stuff = pleh
Anyone who has ever had to go get drugs out of any sort of necessity knows who the wise woman is and all about her cave. The cure was written by the same author as the stranger which is Albert Camus. And know this song has no real connection with that at all.
mr fat you know nothing of music if you only like 1 morphine song.
go listen some backstreet boys, it may be more suited for you.
I agree with Sleepy Head, Mr Fat you must be an imbecile to suggest that the rest of Sandman's work is anything less than a complete body of art that Cure is just a small part of.
po prostu cudo !!! amazing :)
Mark Sandman is the best. And there are so many Morphine songs as good, and better than this.
Such an awesome mellow output...so sad that he passed on..
This particular song has kept me off of drugs for over 7 years...I agree Mr Sandman has awesome stuff...I agree about anyone who's had to get drugs for necessity knows who the wise woman is, and the cave, though as a Gnostic, it means much more to me.
This song talks about is dependence in Heroine and his fight to get throw it.
Not about ladys... come on!
Hey Spooge, I've only met 2 other people with the name Spooge besides myself. Are you one of them or the 3rd?
I agree w/ you and most; Sandman was a genius and innovator, a one of a kind anomaly. C'mon, 2 string slide bass, noiresque lyrics, varient time signatures throughout their recordings...
For me a loss on the level of Marc Bolan.
And Mr. Fat, the others are right, you're an ignorant listener of mainstream music stations, right?
awesome. catching.
I found morphine about 15 yrs ago. Even as a 18 year old stupid kid I fell in love with the music. Its awesome and different and substantive. Its great! And they have all kinds of awesomeness to offer. Not sure what the wise woman is tho lol
jerms... don't be more stupid calling yourself stupid.
I discover again with great pleasure this song. Still true today or even more ! Great song , great artists
Amazing song. I just love it.
Great song and very powerful meaning.
