These verses talk about the second coming of Jesus. There will be signs in the heavens, the moon and the sun. Until that day we all have the opportunity to make the choice to follow Jesus. On the day of His second coming, the choice will be gone. It says in God's Word, the Bible "if today you hear His voice, harden not your heart." For any who have not chosen Him, today is a good day.

For Pete back in 2008- Satan, the Devil is in The Seeker's version.
It's a folk song and was also done by the Weaver's and PP&M in various versions- as happens with many folk songs. Any way, it is always a rousing and fun song to sing and do in "parts". It adapts well and "stylizes" easily.
