The pathos in Gabriel's voice, together with the angelic purity of Bush's, bring tears to my eyes every time I hear this. Even today, 24 years after it was first released, it still moves me.

Onenez hs bn preachd since childhood by "greatman" in societies n coporal punishmnt ws da reinforcer rite tru r youth years. lol i remember this song when i was a little girl, i thought peter was ooooooold and ugly.
now i watched it again, i remembered the song somehow. i never realized how beautiful it is and now, about 25 years? later i think PG is HOT in that video XD

We are doing songs from Peter Gabriel's newest album "New Blood" for our show in marching band this year. The music is all so awesome!!! Plus, I just now realize this song could've been on The Hunger Games!!! Anyone else get that feeling???
