I always thought they said: "If we cannot make believe, maybe we can make some time" but I now think I was wrong! And the word is definitely fuck, not funk. What a great song: my only gripe is that in every group of snares/claps, the 2nd snare (of 4)is compressed too much (for example on every 4th beat every 2 bars).

The reason why that snare is cut/compressed is because the Linn Drum shared voices, and when the sidestick hit it probably stole the voice from the snare.....just a thought, I could be totally wrong.
