I consider this to be lyrically Pulp's best song; even better than Help the Aged. It's a great companion to I Spy, and a sympathetic ode to the 'Seductive Barrys' in smoky pubs throughout the country.

Its tone reminds me a little of Shriekback, should anyone fancy more grimily mellow songs.

Jarvis is up there with Gahan, Cave and Cohen for portraying a very relatable form of human squalor.
