Lost Boys Calling Lyrics
Artist: Roger Waters
Album: Flickering Flame
Come hold me now
I am not gone
I would not leave you here alone
In this dead calm beneath the waves
I can still hear those lost boys calling
You could not speak
You were afraid
To take the risk of being left again
And so you tipped your hat and waved and then
You turned back up the gangway of that steel tomb again
And in Mott street in July
When I hear those seabirds cry
I hold the child
The child in the man
The child that we leave behind
And in Mott street in July
When I hear those seabirds cry
I hold the child
The child in the man
The child that we leave behind
The spotlight fades
The boys disband
The final notes lie mute upon the sand
And in the silence of the grave
I can still hear those lost boys calling
We left them there
When they were young
The men were gone until the west was won
And now there's nothing left but time to kill
You never took us fishin' dad and now you never will
And in Mott street in July
When I hear those seabirds cry
I hold the child
The child in the man
The child that we leave behind

Great wonderful lirycs for everyone to think about let's not leave the child behind, but this killer world....
These are perhaps the best lyrics I have read. They strike a chord deep within you somewhere, and make you think of life beyond its exising meaning. I'd highly recommend this one !
Who is living a more miserable life? the child or us?
I saw the movie "1900: the Legend of pianist at the ocean", by Giuseppe Tornatore and Ennio Morricone and I was very impressed because the beautiful music. After that, I heard the wonderful song by Roger Waters and my heart is plenty of emotion and aesthetic pleasure. Thanks, Waters and Morricone
this song rocks roger has a great voice and Eddie van halen dose have a soft side
This lyrics are deeply. I don't have a child yet, but I could feel how wonderful it was. I'll love em' more than myself, the 'child' is a gift from God. Thanx Roger Waters for the great lyrics.
Great!!!!!! awesome I seen this movie twice. It is all about one man that never touches the ground ever since he was born. TRY TO WATCH IT>>>>:
