Black Magic Woman was written and recorded by Peter Green with Fleetwood Mac. Listen to it? then decide whos song it is. Santana's version while it is very good, is a cover of the original. Peter Greens version holds its real meaning for me. I love Santana's version to by the way!

the problem with this song is that the lyrics is not quite right. The song starts obviating the "I", the "yes" and the "She's". It is annoying when you follow the song from the album and you have to correct the lyrics.

This song was written by Peter Green from Fleetwood Mac, circa 1967 ish, not Santana. They just did it as a cover. Santanas version is an altered version of Peter Greens. While both are great, I perfer PG's.
