New York Mining Disaster 1941 (Have You Seen My Wife Mr Jones) Lyrics

Artist: The Bee Gees

In the event of something happening to me,
there is something I would like you all to see.
It's just a photograph of someone that I knew.

Have you seen my wife, Mr. Jones?
Do you know what it's like on the outside?
Don't go talking too loud, you'll cause a landslide, Mr. Jones.

I keep straining my ears to hear a sound.
Maybe someone is digging underground,
or have they given up and all gone home to bed,
thinking those who once existed must be dead.

Have you seen my wife, Mr. Jones?
Do you know what it's like on the outside?
Don't go talking too loud, you'll cause a landslide, Mr. Jones.

In the event of something happening to me,
there is something I would like you all to see.
It's just a photograph of someone that I knew.

Hvae you seen my wife, Mr. Jones?
Do you know what it's like on the outside?
Don't go talking too loud, you'll cause a landslide, Mr. Jones.

Whenever i hear this song I think of the wife being an eldrich god...Here are the meanings therefor to the lyrics
In the event of something happening to me,
((loss of sanity))
there is something I would like you all to see.
It's just a photograph of someone that I knew.
((the eldrich god in human form))

Have you seen my wife, Mr. Jones?
Do you know what it's like on the outside?
((the outside being in a non-eucidian dimention))
Don't go talking too loud, you'll cause a landslide, Mr. Jones.
((cult uprising))

I keep straining my ears to hear a sound.
Maybe someone is digging underground,
((cthonians
or have they given up and all gone home to bed,
((cults going to dream of cthulhu))
thinking those who once existed must be dead.
((cthulhu is dead but dreaming))

There never was a mining disaster in 1941.It is about a man going crazy after the loss of his wife.
