I think he's talking to the audience in the chorus and referencing how his family thinks his "rock career" such as it was before Let It Be (and even beyond), is silly.

Any ideas what he screams after the solo before coming back into the chorus? To me it sounds something like "understand one thing, you are my favorite thing" or something along those lines.
