Sound to me like the lyric is:

"...that's not jewelry she's talkin' 'bout..."

which would make more sense in the context of the song.

I'm no lip reader, but when I saw ZZ Top perform this tune in concert, "jewelry" appeared to be the word what Rev. BFG was sangin'

IMO, in the 2nd and 3rd refrains the lyric changes from:

"she wanna pearl necklace"

to:

"she WORE a pearl necklace."
