I first played this song on KTEP, the college radio station, in 1953. My girl-friend and I were cheerleaders at UTEP...and this was
"our song". Later that same year we got married in a beautiful midnight ceremony in Saragosa, Mexico. She is gone now, but I "can smile because of her"...

I just found out that this song was my aunt and uncle's wedding song when they were married on February 6, 1954. My aunt paased away this week on March 17, 2013. Her family said she played this song continuously before she married my uncle. I can see why. Rest in Peace Aunt Anne. I love you always.
